what is your pay in CPM?

 

I know starting pay is .29 a mile to start but may be more with more experience but I am not sure. I can tell u from all the reading here the miles are pretty good. Hope that is helpful to you man.

How often do training classes at FFE's Academy start?

How many miles/week are trainees getting once they get out of training?

 

Miles I have no clue about, someone else that has finished the training. As for when classes are, there is a class starting every week. If u have a cdl u start on Thursday and if u don't you start on a Monday. Class with cdl is 12 days long and a couple orientation but I don't know about that since I am still in school. Without cdl it is 15 days and the orientation. Training time is 6 weeks then if u are good to go you get ur own truck.

 

I cant say how many miles you will get, however I have been overhearing conversations and observing in and around the Lancaster terminal the past few days. From what I find there are 2 types of drivers.

Driver #1 we will call Jane.... Comes in to get maintenance, they jump in the shower, do laundry scurry around for a hour and back in the truck and gone. They don't mill about and BS.

Driver #2 we will call Dick.... Sitting in the terminal telling everyone near them how crappy the truck they have is, that they don't get miles, how they wont go to NYC or the northeast wont haul swinging meat. They are also pissed b/c the sky was clear yesterday and it was hot, but today the cool rain is ruining everything.
