The New FFE Driver Academey

Wow, that means I just lucked out a couple weeks ago , I had to attend a Defensive Driving Course at Lancaster thought for sure I was getting a camera. He talked about the camera and how it works so I was surprised when I got a DDC Certificate and no camera installed I got the hell out of there as fast as I could.

Not very happy about the whole thing I'm sure they will catch me next time I seem to get routed through Lancaster allot and I hate it whenIhave to go there.

 

hopefully last snow of season lol had to wait overnight and half the day at the bottum of snowsqualmie chain law in effect and they had it closed a couple times was empty too so i waited --- got loaded and parked in couer d alene chainlaw in effect on lookout pass hopefully have it cleaned up by morning --- i dont know how to chain up and dont want to learn --- and company doesnt have a problem with you stopping for it either which is good--- headed to grand rapids was hoping to get there thursday not looking good for that

 

I just went Lease myself. The whole process was really easy. I talked to them last Tuesday and was told that the class was on Monday. So, I went upstairs and talked to dispatch and told them that I was going Lease and if they had any runs I could due til Sunday. Ran a load of peanuts from Dublin to Laredo, then down to Brownsville to pick up BK onion rings to take back to Lancaster. The paper work was waiting for me when I got back to Lancaster on Saturday morning. The truck I was leasing in the yard. Did the class yesterday and all the paper work. Got my permit book this morning and copies of my lease agreement to keep in the permit book. Taking a load to H.E.B in Houston. A short run, but I will make it up on the next on.

Quick question..... haven't posted here since FFE sent me home on the silver sausage....I haven't been through the Dallas Ft.Worth area in a minute....yesterday I passed through the area delivering a butter refrigerated load from Joliet Ill.to San Antonio tx... picked friday morning, isn't due in till 9:00 am monday....I figured since I have all this time with this load I'd stop at the ole'Grande hotel where FFE used to have there orientation at..... NO TRUCKS ALLOWED!!!! What happened? What did FFE do to get themselves kicked out of the Grande hotel?.... to the point that NOOOOOO truck allowed period!!!! Where are they having their oreintation at now??? Just curious

 

Grande has pretty much been no trucks allowed. Bobtail park by the 7-11. That's about it.

 

Yeah I know...lol found that out the hard way...I had toback myself out of there and pull out in front of that wafflehouse to get out of there...and I wasn't bobtailed...53'reefer on my tractor

 

Got some intel that one of their newb drivers hit a bunch of cars and a light pole in the Grande hotel...any truth to this??? Is this the reason no trucks allowed in there?

 

Was there this time last year for orientation, no truck signs were up then. So dunno @ the Intel.
