Hey PM, How much bigger are the classes now, compared to when you went?

 

Well I'm here in Dallas/ Ft. Worth...and the cab from the greyhound station to Country inn and suites wasn't $20.....it was $70$2 a mile for 44 miles.....highway robbery

I think you got off at the wrong stop, the greyhound station is only a few miles from the school.

 

Google maps show 6 miles from greyhound fort worth to 1801 mony street! wow.

 

I don't know if you got off in Dallas or Arlington. Ftw Terminal for Greyhound is downtown. That address is just up N Frwy I 35 a few miles. Crappy part of town but no 44 miles. I have lived in FTW for over 50 yrs. You should be some where near International dealership on Pharr st. If you did get off in downtown and paid that much call taxi co and demand refund or call city and report. I hope you got a receipt.

I'm narrowing down my choices of which company I want to return to driving with. I have a question for you all... What was your ending miles for the last couple weeks?

Also... Do you think you made a good choice for getting on the road?

If not, is there another company you wish you would have gone with?

Hello FFE. After trying to get a hold of my recruiter with numerous emails and phone messages for 3 weeks, (I wanted to know about travel confirmation numbers and if FFE would be cool with me working at a temp agency for a short time while I waited for the bus ride.) I decided to call the recruiting hotline and speak with whoever answered.

The lady recruiter was shocked that my assigned recruiter had not returned any emails or calls( I did mention I had not heard from him in 3 weeks) as he has a good reputation.

I was not pushy, or whiney about it, but wonder if I will be "branded" as a complainer because I called. Looking back, I think I could have had my questions answered without mentioning the 3 weeks of zero communication.

I'm not one to make waves over things that may or may not be big deals, and I am sure I did the right thing by calling in, but not too sure if I handled it correctly by calling out my recruiter on his lack of communication to one of his coworkers.

Your thoughts?

 

It was the last stop....downtown Dallas....end of the line for the silver sausage......FFE has the receipt...I beleive they're lookin into it...I just know that meter was runnin....bigtime....

 

so far so good ... tomarrow I go to get my learners permit from the texas DPS...today we covered PTI's...very thorough class Coney and Candy are the instructors and are very awsome....they do give out alot of homework though...LOL!!!!!
