So Far I finished week one and now considered a senior here...finished the DPS written exam and got my Texas permit, passed static air pressure test,Pre-trip inspection, coupling, uncoupling, strait line backing, serpintine manuvering, parrellel parking and are now getting into alley docking this week.Next week......................basic low range up\down shifting going foward, then a little more advanced high range up/down shifting and what ever else there is to learn so far........overall........... excellent school.:biggrin_2558:

Well so far so good I guess got a "shakey 3.3 score out of 5 which is a B- well closer to a C+ on my evow... shifting going foward today.Upshifting....easy... downshifting I need practice but its only day one so I'll get it.I still find myself floating 9th to 8th if I can find 8th or 7th...if not well... there's always 6th considering its all the way over to me from 9th then the devider to low range....but even sometimes I had trouble with the low gears downshifting. Its just keeping the RPM's up to 1500 to get them into gear then the shifter glides in.Still have a waaaays to go but "Wildcat" gettin me there....:biggrin_2551:

What subjects are covered in this book? Looks like they went all out to provide a detailed reference manual. Are we allowed to keep?

When do you get your travel confirmation info to go to the academy? I am scheduled to start next monday, but have not got any bus ticket confirmation numbers yet...
