The New FFE Driver Academey

I haven't heard anything from them. I told them point blank yesterday when things didn't work with Play I would not drive team with some Rookie (sorry I am still learning myself and IMO that would equate to a dumb and dumber scenario like CRST). If I get on with CFI I will have to go with a mentor for a little while, but I actually like that given that I'm not current on experience.

Either they are fired, or they up and quit. I am glad I got to meet treyzguy before he hit the road for greener pastures. He is actually a hellava guy who stood his ground.
As for the others. If it were me, I would go with the flow. SAVE your money while your out 6 weeks, so if you have to wait a week for a truck, you can. I know some of the people are not being asked to go home. They are sent home. Then, yes the gloves are off, as we all have to make a living. I know it sucks, but I know they are working on it for the better. Seeing Greg get promoted to head up ALL training, will make better trainers.

 

i was called by my recruiter and told that he would have to call me on the first of nov to reschedule orientation as my oct 17 was cancelled due to no trucks available so my response was im going to stay were i am so we will see what happens take care guys stay safe out there

 

yea it is very unfortunate about the lack of trucks. the one thing about all the guys they are firing, they are getting rid of the worthless individuals and unfortunately most of them are in 07 that have to be turned in to frieghtliner anyway so they can't be handed to new drivers. wish frieghtliner would get off their butts and fullfill what they said they could. as far as the different trucks coming in i highly doubt that we will be getting new volvos because they are junk and both volvo and international are starting to not honor the warrenties because of the speed that we run is rough on the motor. if you hear anything take it with a grain of salt. no offense playmaker i have heard so many rumors from reliable sources that i just start ignoring people at the yard when they start a sentence with "i was told by a reliable source" cause i have heard everything from the company is closing, they trucks are getting turned up to 68, they were firing everyone but 300 people and closing truckload, and we are getting pet's and kennys.

 

Still no news from FFE, but I have a confirmation to be in Lancaster Monday for Conway.

Thanks, I still wish any and all the drivers at FFE the best of luck. I don't like that I got shafted 2x by the same people, but I don't have any problems with the drivers.
