LoneWolf......I enjoyed our "hike" to Whataburger (haha). I'm in McCallen with my new trainer who's just taken over an LTL run. A new trainer and a different run is making the latter half of my training more entertaining and more comfortable (two nights in a motel this week). I expect I'll spend the next two weeks finishing up with him and that's cool. I do hope there's trucks to be driven when I complete this phase of the training. Like everyone else, I need the cash coming in on a regular basis. We'll see what happens. I'm going to try and keep a positive attitude.

Hey man, glad I got to meet a couple of y'all. I got home and have a laptop again (turns out the pavilion d6700 had alot of issues but a recall was never issued. I got a gateway for now,and it seems to be doing well. Keep the positive attitude, and hopefully when you're ready to upgrade they will have a rig for ya.

One more week of phase 2 training to go,me and my trainer got a huge run from Waco TX to Detroit Mich, then deadhead back to Chicago Bridgeveiw yard pick up a load there and take it to Ontario California. As far as this whole thing about there not being any trucks to put me in when I finish up with my trainer....I'm not really concerned with it....it is what it is....I have no issue teaming up with someone if it comes to that"for the meantime" I believe in the whole "good things come to those who wait" My birthdays in December so getting a tractor then would be sweet......all is well.

A lot of experience drivers that went on leave or vacation came back to find they can't get a truck since they turned theirs in. They are highly upset because grads are getting the trucks before them, brand new CASCADIA"s at that. Fare? No. Splitting the company? YES. Just a heads up to all recent and coming up grads. Don't brag about getting a truck on yard (very loud), could cause some tension between us and the people that didn't go through Academy. Good luck to all be safe and hope to see you soon on the road with your own truck.
