I was told in orientation that that was the case regardless of a truck issue. Taking that much time off without being out of town means the truck is free to be driven. It is just business sense.
They are a lot of rumors floating around the yard. Some have been proven true, and others remain to be rumors. I was suprised about the dry van one. But, I am not suprised at others, like peeps being asked if they want to team.
Regardless, this is a business. The last several quarters have sucked, but FFE will pull through. I am buying this cheap stock.)) FFEX for those interested.

Stay safe and may the Lord keep the wheels where they belong.

PS, thanks for the use of the inverter Rob. It made time bearable..

I am liking the new truck, although it doesnt pull to her potential,,,yet. Needs broken in. Love the upgrades freightliner did. I am planning on getting one, but forgot when I stopped at Loves to fuel. Home now, so it can wait.
As per the topic though, I sure will miss those long mile Conway jobs. I wish they would at least keep those))

None of the trucks are going to pull to their potential since the companies dial them down. When you start governing speed it messes up engine performance. That's industry wide though not just FFE.

Yea, got a new Cascadia. It isnt quite that bad, but sure doesnt have the pulling power the '10 I trained in did. I heard it just needs broken in, so we will see.
Home for 5 and 2 half days..lol. Been away since July 27th, so it is nice to be home. From here on out it will not seem as long.
People that say there is no sacrifice, really have no clue what they are talking about. But of course, you all know this.
