My generation and all generations after that, if your parents instilled work ethic in you it really doesn't matter when you were born. I am 59 and my oldest grandkid is 21. When they come over to my house they push me away from work. They say sit down grampa we got this.
Well the reasons he was failing at the basics is this fact, he spent too much time gaming and not enough time sleeping or working on the business. Now he wanted it back, which he got ripped into for having it in the first place, taking too much time to 'relax' wasn't how he would make it. He didn't want the laptop back or the iPad, I offered them but he insisted that he would return to pay me back, I told him he wouldn't so let's see. I have a few drivers who were told ditch the gaming crap and focus on the work, and a few turned into former drivers. I had one that was so tired the cops actually took him to the hospital after he passed out and putting the truck into a ditch. He was so exhausted, that he was admitted for dehydration and fatigue. I found out he did some gaming tournament and stayed up for 48 hours straight, which was amazing in itself but he had a load to pick up on the Monday at 9 am which was two hours away. He made it out the truck stop was making a left, he passed out and went right into the ditch. So no more of that driver in my truck - it was mutual parting.
