I believe these prices are here to stay if not jump even more. Back in 2009 when gas spiked it pretty much emptied out the roads. It didn’t seem to matter what time you hit the George Washington Bridge you could almost drive straight across.
Traffic seems worse than ever now, at least on the East Coast. Which tells me people have accepted it, so why would the oil companies ever drop the price back to pre-pandemic levels.Kyle G. Thanks this. -

elections have consequences, hope everyone that voted for the geezer is happy now . He promised to end drilling , never allow another refinery or power plant and He cancelled the pipeline five minutes after he took office . And he’s blamed everyone except himself for the prices .

Gas has been going down the last 2 weeks at least. Hopefully it stabilizes at something reasonable. -
I found a gas receipt in the car and regular gas was $3.22 on March 21st this year at my local station. Currently at $3.96. Would be nice to see it get back to the $3 - $3.25 range.

Looking back at my GPS yesterday i saw i got fuel in September in Braman, OK for $2.859
