The new NYHUT stickers...

When they are going to give you a ticket for where it is placed, they are GOING to give you tickets. It is there ticket day.

 

I was wondering...do you have to get the NYHUT registration if your truck is registered IN New York and has NY base plates? I might be purchasing a truck sometime in the near future and and would theoretically have a situation where I would not operate in NY state but would have the truck registered to my home address in Brooklyn. Anybody?

 

Only needed if you drive a CMV through NYS

 

Are you planning on leasing to someone? If so they will be responsible for the HUT account. If you're not going to go into NY, I'd look into playing the truck in the state of operation or through the carrier.

 

I had to have my own HUT account when leased. Depends on the carrier n how they do things

 

I thought that followed the carrier. I always did it for my o/o.
