The new restart rule actually caused me to drive more instead of its intention

Since you know more than the rest of us and the Feds, what are the benefits of that extra 30 minutes? Falsifying your logs? If you don't want to play by the rules, then quit. You're making the rest of us look bad.

yes, its disquised as a qualcomm.

Because I liked where I was and would have stopped at that point if the rules didn't change.

I bet new realistic rules would be:

    1. A set day time to drive like 7AM to 5PM (rush hour times). Not allowed to drive at all outside of those hours.
    2. 62 or less mph govern for all trucks
    3. Daily or weekly log checks by DOT officer which has to be logged.
    4. Max 10 hours of drive time
    5. Cam pointed at driver the same way they do with bus drivers and train conductors.
    6. Driver cannot stay otr for more than two weeks at a time.

More likely to have no driving during rush hours.

That's my point. The government is so stupid they would have us drive during rush hours so we would be stuck in traffic. Though I agree even if they suggested non driving during those hours would be just as bad.

once it gets to the point when they go to buy their favorite item and the store tells them they are out because the trucks cant make it....then they might realize oh crap we need these drivers to drive

The weird thing about the government is that they make a change that is a complete failure and won't change it back.

    NavigatorWife Thanks this.
