if so, you need to complete the requirements. you may have to pay back if you do not finish what you signed on the line......just a thought, so check into that too....
this from you..xlsdraw Thanks this. -
if you still have time at school to do then finish it. if that company is any good that wants to hire you they will wait for you to finish.

ok, even though you have deleted your posting, i will still carry it on for others regarding OTJ training and the WIA program...
i checked this out with the secretary at my school....this morning...
if one is getting the WIA monies or from any other source that YOU SIGNED FOR, and quits school you WILL PAY BACK ALL THE MONEY.......as you reneged on the contract.
so as said, IF that company showed an interest in you now, they will still be interested in you later..YOU NEED to finish school, because if you don't, as i say, you WILL BE paying WIA/dislocated workers money back...PLUS, you hurt your chances of any WIA/dislocated workers money for training in your future....as all of this is linked to your SS number.......
so why screw yourself now...??
stay in school, get your certificate, then get the job......xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info Rerun. The point you brought up yesterday did naturally concern me. But I did not get WIA funding. I got a grant thru the State of Florida. This morning, I asked my school representative about the possible financial liability of taking a job early. Taking a job in the feild that I trained for is OTJ/OJT and will qualify me for graduation and certification. Both of those are important to me. I just need to have a potential employer provide a letter documenting the time with the company trainer. The interview I attended today was a bust.
