If he doesn't have a laptop for mobile access we may not hear from him until he gets home.

When an owner is requested, that sometimes means the driver is NO LONGER able (For Whatever Reason) to drive said truck.

DWI- some states pull the license on the spot !!

    Or jailed w/o bond!!

I certainly hope it all turns out for the best.
But reading some reports from out there....!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same thing happen to me. Driver got a speeding ticket, no big deal but he didn't pay the fine and skipped his court date. Got pulled over again because of a seat belt, found his warrant and carted him to jail. Problem is HE used his only phone call to call his wife, and being as dumb as he was she didn't call us. She stopped by to pick up his paycheck and just happened to mention it 8hrs later. To make maters worse when we called the police about the truck they didn't know where it was and the officer that made the stop had already went home! It took about 5 calls and 3hrs to find out it was in a K-Mart parking lot. The police couldn't even tell me what town it was in. He no longer works for us.:biggrin_25523:
Did visit him in jail, to pick up our phone and credit card.:biggrin_2559:

Southernpride gets out in AZ he may just decide to stay. They have wind chill advisories for the roller coaster at Disney World today. Don't envy him for the reason he's out there but wouldn't blame him if he decided to stay a few days. Matter of fact with -25 wind chills tonite I oughta load up the wife and dog and go. I think it's the only place in the country that's warm. Do hope he's ok. Reminds me of a fleet owner I used to drive for. His favorite saying was"pick up your load on time, deliver it on time and take care of the truck". Southernpride strikes me as being the same breed. I like'm.

NOW iwas was asked to update my trip to AZ. well the big emergeny turned out to be a gallon of BS.

i rented a plane becuse the driver was in jail along with the truck and i didnt think she needed to be in jail.

well when o got there she was in histerics she for some reason didnt think i was comming to gedt her out, i got a big hug out of that one-LOL.

to be a new driver she handeled her self pretty well even took picture and left them in the truck which was a good thing otherwise they woud have dissapered.

had to wait a few hours before i could see a judge and we dhowed the picture and she explained tho the judge whar happened, then the judge ask me a few questions about her , well he must have liked what i had to say he dismissed the charges.

we left and i took my driver to a resturant and fed her a good brealfast, she was pretty scared, it was her first time dealing with a smart mouth cop and being locked up.

she is own the way with the truck probably be in in the mourning or afternoon, i figure after driving a couple of hours she would be ok.

i did leave a pissed off cop though, o well such is life.

my best to all . southernpride :biggrin_25514:
