A lot of older trucks speedis read 120. I had a 120 in my Pete. But 100 was enough for me.
You can buy aftermarket speedos up to 160mph if not more. They have those on the shelf at 4 states.
The not so good new year

The 85 Star that i drove yrs ago had a 3406B Cat, 15 over, 390`s and 24.5 rubber and the fastest I had her up to was 105 mph not kmh. She may have had more left to give
but that was plenty fast enough for me.

Used to be able to order one on a KW. I tried on the last couple trucks I ordered but they said the weren't available as an option anymore.
-
That's pretty useless. Can you even reach 160 in a truck? I know you can reach it in a mustang cobra but a truck. 4 states is just stupid but that's them

SP went to Az and kicked butt, so now we have to find something else to talk about. Plus, SP started another thread about his adventure. -
Ok LOL, I have to go to work today. Water doesn't stop flowing just cause it is saturday LOL...

At the extreme risk of hijacking this thread back to it's original topic, uh let's see here, would that be a "unhijack????"

Backed into a DOT car huh? WOW, she sure knows how to pick them! Hats off to you, and to her! She will have an experience to tell her grandkids about, for sure! -
Ya know, that DOT officer has probably gotten a few chuckles out of this one too by now!
-
If the DOT car was parked, possibly. However if he happened to be driving it at time of accident, I doubt he is laughing. OTOH, all the OTHER DOT guys will be. He will have the new name of "Crash!"
JustSonny Thanks this.
