Go with what interest you. Most guys that answered on here sound like whiners with tough talking keyboards. You can do anything, you know your body's limits better then any doctor or anyone on here for sure. These guys talk about disability like people are meaningless. Then when they have to collect benefits will be crying cause it didn't go there way. I commend you for trying to work already accomplished a lot more than most. Be safe and good luck.

England does not own Central, and Swift doesn't have any children!

Jerry Moyes who started Central Refrigerated or bought out Dick Simon is one of the major stock holders of Swift. Swift is a public company and Central is private. I believe now his daughter mostly is in charge of Central however Jon Issacson is the CEO.

As far as better gig, I would have to say reefer. With reefer you have twice the opportunity for loads. You can haul anything refrigerated and also anything you would haul in a dry van. Flatbed and tanker also pay well so it really would boil down to personal preference.

I assume that was directed at me. Did you get the part where I said "I never missed a day in 25 years"? Do you think I was never hurt? What does an 11 year old kid with a broken neck have to do with a 40 year old man who never had a real career or went to work more than 3 days in a row his entire life?
Im not disparaging the people who really need to use government disability checks to survive but, when I meet a man who is in better physical shape than me but has mental or emotional issues that prevent him from working, I question his fortitude. Why is it that a man who cant work because he is sad about his cat dying when he was 7 years old gets to have the same lifestyle as a man who works 60 hours a week for 50 years? Americans are such PUZEES! SUCK IT UP BI**HES while you're at your psychotherapy session talking about your feelings, the Chinese and Mexicans are coming to do the jobs you are too upset to handle.

sb1, Nightfall and mje Thank this.
