    A wheelchair?! :biggrin_25524:
    Balance problems?! :biggrin_2551:
    Unable to stand?! :biggrin_25521:

Wh0-all are they issuing CDL's to these days?

I had occasion to stop at a local Big truck truck stop the other day, ... I don't recall where.
Anyway,---- there was a sign at the entrance that read,
NO DOGS ALLOWED, in large font.
Just below, in a smaller font, the same sign read,
    Except Seeing-eye dogs.
Which caused me to wonder, ????
    Who reads that sign?
    The blind person?
    Or the dog?
    :dontknow:

    I asked management.
    They asked me to leave.
    :help: :Wheelchair: :grommit: :glasses7:

Wife works in a nursing home, most showers there are given to seated individuals. So it's an accommodation.

Handicapped showers are nice for anyone, more room and nothing to trip you.

Handicap showers are probably mandated by the,,,,,,, ah crap what's the name? I wanna say ACA but that's Obamacare now.

The same law that says you need wheelchair ramps and elevators in certain building. They also regulate how many handicapped spots a place has to have based off population. Years ago my mom's apartment complex was found in violation and they were required to convert 7 spaces for handicapped use. They didn't really put much thought into it though and 2 of them were right in front of our apartment. So we being able bodied couldn't use spaces in front of our door and the old guy down the block had to wobble back from our place.

But how can you qualify for a handicapped placard and still get a medical card?!? Because now there are truckstops and rest areas with dedicated handicapped spots.

    "Handicapped" isn't always physically obvious.
    SOMEtimes the handicaption is mental.

(that's what I tell 'em --- when I forget to walk with a limp. It's all in my head.) :banghead:  :violent1:

You know it's mental. Everyone who has that license plate, who can't drive, is crippled in the head. :tard:

    Hahaha....you got a "platinum shower"!

Is that like a "golden shower", but from someone who is exceptionally well-hydrated?...:p

I wear a hazmat suit when I shower so I don't catch anything.
