Scab. Lol. Not quite. I don’t care how much anyone makes. I’ve only had 2 Teamster jobs. Too bad they’re all gone. I could sure use one now. Still a member. Total of 3 years. Means nothing. I still have my withdrawal card, ( cost me 50 cents. If by chance I get another Teamster job, I won’t have to pay initiation dues. I support workers rights. I am a worker after all.
I support the first amendment right to peacefully assemble and petition.

We are beyond low demand and wages at this point.
Pretty soon we'll being hauling just for fuel money to keep going and be step ahead of the repo man chasing us!

Then when the port container drivers go out and get trailers and go over the road being there's nothing to do at closed ports the fuel money loads won't even be left!

Don't want Automation so stop working to-- further give credence why automation is attractive to the employer. Computers and robots don't go on strike or unionize. You don't want to lose work to AI and automation and to force the matter you decide to not do your job. HUH?

Looking at it from a non union person all I can do is shake my head.

To make things worse one AP picture had a dude with a bullhorn and a PRE printed sweater with "Strike Strike Strike" in big letters and then in smaller letters "From the east coast to the golf!" --- ummmmm . That AI might of helped out with Gulf instead of golf. Seems enough money is being made to where tee time is on your brain.

I'm headed into HOUSTON right now. There's no traffic 2 miles behind me and two or three cars 2 miles in front of me on interstate 10. Just fueled up at the TA east of Columbia. Parking lot was empty. Very weird.

I wish I were down there. Spent the last 20 years dodging the hurricanes. Should be some good paying freight going into the gulf area. Coming out, that’s a gamble. I’m out of the loop. Can’t help but wonder though. I imagine New Orleans and Savanna Ports are getting backed up. Might just be a window of opportunity. For a short while anyway.
