So ,I was raised to never get in fights, never hurt any one and be a good man to my family and protect them at all cost.
My mom was a Christian and raised me in that manor and later I gave my life to Christ as well, and serve him daily, with that we were taught to not su any one ever! Mom would always say let God deal with it. Here lately in the past few years I've jumped ship from company to company, because all the lies they just easily get away with while recruiting you. It's not just the recruiter s though, its company wide in most cases. Most recently I was wanting a company that is true OTR all 48, found one.... Well at least that's their claim, meanwhile I've been in the north east and Midwest (region) the whole time,it's been 4 months. More so I asked my dispatcher about this and I told him I was getting tired of going to Chicago area once a week and back to Penn and then down to Atlanta, it's a horrible triangle of traffic jams and construction.
You know that though, it's not easy.
So dispatcher tells me sure we can get you to Atlanta then shoot you over to Houston, I say ok sounds good.
Two hours later he calls me up and says we need you to go to Milwaukee then to Rockport and do that run for 3 days straight! Well it's forced dispatch so I want to try to keep this job and not jump ship again,I'm jumping around way too much, so I'm on that run,and after it's over ai remind him of Houston, well he says that's no longer an option it's for teams only.
So now I'm stuck doing that same ol triangle.
I said all that to say this,I'm under derest, and I'm not functioning like I want to my health both physically and mentally are being tested daily.
I never signed on for regional anything OTR ALL 48 , That'd what they advertise. For teams and singles.
That's the biggest lie I've heard in their industry .
I think some oneaybe me needs to su them ,and send a message that we aren't going to take it any more.
I would like to hear your thoughts on what I can do?
I'm trying to talk to the company about doing all 48 and they keep telling me where they go and don't go and what teams do and what singles do,None of that was told to me before they hired me. So what's my next move?

Which state do you live in?
How much experience do you have?

It's not the mega's that are the problem; you're not doing due diligence before choosing a company.
Ask if solo drivers run West.

you were hired to do a job.

you have no actual working/signed contract.

you are hired on by a forced dispatch company. (many are)

you go where the freight is.

with all your job-hopping, maybe they are testing you, since if you jump ship again, they don't wanna go 4,000 miles to pick up a truck.

    you wanna sue them..>??

    for what...??

breech of contract, which i mentioned, YOU DON'T HAVE..??

they do not have to disclose runs are single or team drivers.

the company HAS the right to send you where the freight is, or is that something you think MUST be to your liking only?

i laugh that you wanna sue somebody.

do the job, they give you, and keep on trucking, and given your penchant to jump ship?

you'll be leaving them soon enough.

buy your own truck, go where you want to go...

oh yeah, that's IF you don't refuse loads, and sit at the truck stops or home till you get your way.

do that stuff with a lease company or brokerage house, and i'll guarantee you, that truck you buy (or lease)...??

    will go up for auction.

You could sue them like you said. Teach them a lesson.

    Here's a lesson for you.
