Dude its trucking not a vacation. A trucking company exists to make money. They make money by moving freighy. They hired you to move the freight and they locate you where the best freight exists. Nothing more nothing less. Welcome to trucking.

 

No, actually, Chinatown is probably one of the most helpful members on here, rarely does he bust on anyone or have a ######## response, you'd do well to learn from someone trying to help you, he doesn't have to, he does it out of kindness.

Trucking companies exist to make money.

you make money by hauling cargo at a profit.
You haul the cargo from where it is , to where it needs to go.

the trucking companies have zero control over where the cargo needs to go.

You either haul it where someone is paying you to haul it , at a profit , or you you sit and earn nothing .

there are posts on here all the time looking for team drivers to run coast to coast with reefers or with cryogenic haz mat.
Do you have your haz mat and triples and tanker endorsements ?

If not , get them .

Man......people job hop regardless of generation. That ain't nothing new. There are people with lousy attitudes in every generation too...also nothing new. I'm not sure why people have to labelled into a group all the time and for every little thing.
