After delays at the shipper this morning, and a pretty big slowdown on i84 near newburgh, ny that lost like 45 minutes, i made it to the TA in maybrook NY. Seems okay so far. Waaay too many reserved spots though, id say a solid 50% or more are empty reserves at the moment

I love sitting in the drivers seating at the country pride. Theres always some billy bigriggin senior super trucker there talking about outrunning the cops through donner pass in a snow storm with 100k on, then stopping to talk #### to the cop. Love it lmao. Maybe some day I'll be that kind of cool lol
Gearjammin' Penguin, Lepton1 and Slim51 Thank this. -

I always enjoy the talkers but man... This guy was apparently all that. The exanple i gave was an actual story. Along with getting a load from sacramento that he didnt like, so he assaulted his dispatcher in person with a cheater pipe and refused the load and quit.
But the donner pass story was supposedly that load from sacramento.
He learned to drive truck out west in utah for a mega. But he also started his trucking career hauling logs in vermont.
Everybody was just sharing eye rolls while this dude babbled. I had to get up and go before i couldnt contain my laughter
