Left yesterday morning towards Baltimore. Stopped about an hour out at the bottom of the Jersey Pike. Smooth sailing to this point.

Having a microwave is possibly the best thing about this truck lol. I'm in love

Sitting at the house since 12/21 bouncing off the walls while having planned service done on the truck. Don't understand how I missed the previous post.

2 weeks down for planned service?! You getting an inframe done or something? That seems like a lot of down time to me, but I'm not an o/o either...

So I downloaded an audiobook app the other day. I've always been a reader, but lately haven't had much time to do so. So I gave it a shot. Started with a long time favorite, thinking if a book I love can't hook me in the audio then nothing will.

I'm 2 days in and I love it. Nerdy or not lol. I don't know that I'll continue paying a monthly fee, but I might.

Just thought id make note of it.

warranty work on my head gasket and some other minor things. Planned on doing it during the holidays based on low rates and lack of good paying loads. Last year I was moving thru over 100 inches of snow at this time. So I planned on sitting around just didn't realize who hard it could be on me. It was estimated 35 hours for the tear down for the gasket it's self working between the two holidays so I don't think it was that bad.

Man I love audio books. Podcasts and audio books are my savior for fighting boredom. And I’m a die hard music lover but i usually only listen to it late at night when the other stuff isn’t cutting it.

Not sure what you’re into for books but Needful Things by Stephen King is a great book if your into Stephen king. Right now I’m in the middle of Game of Thrones series. It’s well worth the monthly fee if you ask me.

    Stay safe everyone!

I'm a huge Stephen king fan, and a life goal is to both own, and have read, all of his books. I'm a fair way through the list but it's almost never ending. Needful things is a very good one.

11-22-63 is my favorite book by him or anyone else. I started the audible trial with that, figuring that if I can't stay interested in that one it's not worth my time. So far so good! My only issue is the horrible "voice acting" when they try to mimic accents lol

Just checking in... It's been a while since I have.

Im still alive, and still flatbedding lol. Reached my 1 year mark this Monday, which we all know is a milestone

Did my first real NYC trip last night. Delivered in Brooklyn and it wasn't too bad honestly

Sorry about the disappearance, but I developed a social life, with an enjoyable new relationship that fills my spare time lol.

I'm pretty strongly considering leaving the flatbed division to work in the woods. It'd be a pay cut... but home daily, flexible hours, and an 18spd truck with a hood on it lol. I want to be home now... Living on the road was more fun when I didn't like my home life

I hope everything is going well for all of you .Check in everybody! Lol

    Stay safe out there!
