The rookie

Yea man these tablets are bad business. Went into the office at 0800 to try to get transferred to the new tablet just left it in there and let them play with it.. ended up leaving around 1400 with instructions to just continue on paper logs and try again when I get back Monday
Also during my time in the office another driver came in and was told he was good to go and about 30 mins later he called in speaking of troubles logging into the tablet but being fine for Qualcomm which was a whole different problem

 

I wonder why they didn’t extensively test these dArn things before they sent em out

 

So on a Monday(today) all I got was a 4 mile Prespot. Which isn’t getting done until tomorrow when I pick up going to Wv.. So gonna spend my time today heading to local yards

 

It’ll be exactly 8 months on the 5th but I’m actively seeking out of the big orange just don’t want to rush it and get into something else that’s bad

 

I definitely had them on the list just they don’t have nothing up here by me. The have exactly one trailer at the tankwash up here and 3 at the basf been hoping I would catch someone picking it up to talk to em . They only have opportunities for carry transit way up north. Actually just got off the phone with Central transport while on hold with Sem had a whole 15 min conversation and was on hold. (Got to my truck and the batteries were dead.. the only thing plugged in is the tablet via direct connect) Maintenance told me it’s gonna be a 4 hour wait cause it’s 22 people ahead.. so I’m pretty much here for the night if I know them. Tablet still don’t work the guy tried to get smart with me told him I’m at the Woodhaven Oc/lot , well your tablet says.. well the tablet ain’t worked since y’all installed it, I’m telling you I’m sitting right behind the pilot in your lot. Ok I know where it’s at but I need a physical address.. you need a physical address for your yard?Its not my yard my yard is in Green Bay.. ight dude you can figure it out smh.
Either way it goes as of Thursday morning per trip plan I would be at 440 miles for the week.

So on the Phone I was told by Central that the Job is night time Linehaul 7-7 with dock work being 24 per hour. Still waiting on a few companies to hit me.
Just need my next company to hold me over Til I got 2 years to come back tanker

 

Just had someone sent out here to jumpstart the truck ran power to it for 30 mins had high enough voltage to start and the truck didn’t even attempt to crank over so I guess I’m getting towed so I guess I’m going to speak to the good people at central in the morning
