Central is the cr England of LTL. Are there any chemical plants in your area? Go drive by them and see if they have their own fleet. Then go talk to them. I guarantee they wont hire you with your experience BUT....BUT they will give you a basis o. What their untested in. My first chemical job was a private fleet and you needed alot to get in the door, before they found they couldnt keep drivers. Then they started a new program where they would hire people to hostle trailers and then let them drive later on as they built experience. Or you could hostle and be home everyday. There are options, but at 8 months....I wonder.. . You could haul dryvan and stick with schneider. That way you could build experience for a few years , then come back to tanks and technically, you didnt really switch companies, you just went to a different division and you're still building otr experience .
Just trying to bounce ideas of ya

Yea my tablet has been having constant issues I will not get assignments unless I restart and I will not get my fuel solutions no matter how many requests I put in, so I’m just fueling where ever I want fck that performance bonus, the last time I called in to the tech support to get help I didn’t even get a person just a prompt to leave a message and never got a call back I’m just trying to work around any issues till I get out of this truck next week and not have to deal with it again
Thanos Thanks this. -
Just got off the phone with Sem as the truck was towed this morning at 0800 and was told that the dealer might not even get to the truck this week (as if Schneider has no pull to call and get a real eta) as this dealer is always backed up. So I called the dealer got transferred several times as nobody could give me any real info except that they are backed up.

I'd ask you DBL to pay for a rental car to drive home. Clean your truck out, go home. Find another job, then put your two week notice in. Schneider will probably just term you, just make sure you turn in all your fittings/ppe at an OC. I wouldn't waste any more time with that bs..

Yea no point in sitting around unless they are getting you a loaner to keep moving, that $65 a day breakdown pay is bull...

Speechless on multiple accounts. This isnt, nor has it ever been an isolated event. I started with them in 2013 and it was the same back then. I dont see how they are still in the tanker game

Yea I interview with Sysco and central tomorrow pilot said no, and a few other companies just hadn’t responded yet im going to still give it another solid week before I make any decisions and give Schneider my two weeks

Just got in touch with somebody from freightliner and was told they ain’t pulled it in yet but they can see that it won’t go into neutral only shows two dotted lines he said they won’t be pulling it in until Monday or Tuesday. I’mma go up there and clean some of my stuff out of it so it’s less of a hassle later. Still looking for more places I can speak to someone in person sysco sent a automated decline message after the interview. But the interview wasn’t with the hiring manager. And central left me with a humongous packet to fill out...Just went to sos to get my triples and doubles and my corrective lenses restriction removed

I applied to Sysco before and got the same message. Did phone interview and was told they will send it to the location manager for review. Next day, "Thank you for applying but at this time we decided to go with other applicants".
