Came back from TAH Wednesday day gave me a nice 600 mile load and unload went to fuel up pump s closed twice after 40 dollars smh so I said forget it I’ll get fuel after I load and it warms up. Made it to the Tw in -17 degree weather. Knew none of them could’ve been cleaned.. had a trailer with completely rusted through crossbars and had to find another trailer was lucky that they just washed 2 that morning , Did a full pretrip on 1 soon as I got done with it another driver shows up like yea I just got assigned this trailer...went to the other got hooked up and was ready to roll.. there was another driver there that was also doing the same delivery as me so we rolled together got out own cb channel and joked the whole way there.. got loaded and set to leave.. soon as we got out of town to the highway the check engine light came on again... so I told him I’d pullover and call sem.. he said he’d be up the road as we planned on stopping 2 hours up the road for the night after fueling.. so I call sem and the say that the issue I drivable issue at that point I needed fuel so I msg. My dbl and she said have sem send somebody out so I went up to get fuel and called in .. was on the line for a hour before I got somebody only for them to say they’ll send somebody out this was at about 6 I had 2 hours on my clock.. figured I would be there for the night ... so I waited up the two hours... nothing.. bout 940 I was ko and about 12 I hear beating on my truck.. I woke up excited thinking the repair man was there...it was the police, When ever you send for maintenance they always say they’ll call you back to update you and when you don’t answer (6 hours later) they assume something has happened to you... so fast forward to my next problem when you idle the truck you can expect to regen in the morning..25% derates must be regen’d via computer plug in.. No regen the truck shuts off every 2 mins... I get a message saying the guy will be there in 57 mins at 5 am the same time the truck shut down the 1st time...so I’m starting the truck every few mins hoping the batteries don’t die. The guy gets there resets the fault and regen’d it on the cpu and said I was ready to go.. made it to the place in pa... got back in and 2 other Schneider truck showed up ... the guy says somebody screwed up , said there was about 13 trucks of the product came in that day and that they usually get 3 a day.. but I unloaded , stuff shot out like water. Made it to Cory to a preassignment.. that was for the 1st and second made it to the shipper yesterday and their loading rack was frozen and wouldn’t be available till the 3rd so i had to drive straight back which didn’t bother me cause it’s the same miles as driving to the consignee .. I’m thinking I’ll be here for the Sb

Keep up the good work.
Just a note on my new 2019 truck. The sensors on it are too sensitive, well compared to my 2014. 3 weeks with the truck and got 12 critical events, all rollover warnings. Just today I was rolling through West Virginia going uphill and it hit me in the turn. No issues for months now a event every other day, smh. I have found that if you hit the breaks even a little while turning it will register a stability alert.
Too few in fleet to tell if it's just me or if others have run into this. -
Sheesh yea my truck doesn’t even have the rollover warnings...
This week had so much potential... Got a Run 700 miles to Wausau That picked up Sunday morning so I was able to get a 34 in wasn’t bad considering the 34 only cost me that 15 dollars,
Made it to Basf and heat in transit is a Pita to hook up, took a min drove to Gary for the night missed most of the sb thank god it was a snooze fest , was told that they ran out of coolant and oil at the service desk . the trailer took 4 bottles So I had 2..with my luck going to wisc I knew something was bound to happen.. but it was my first trip to wisc and nothing happening Made a clean delivery and made it back through Chicago with no traffic surprisingly.. Had my second nalco load pick up in chi .. the assignment had me request a empty trailer move there which was a nightmare at the tank wash it had no slip an was still sealed up...so I waited 2 hours called them to see what up and was to they had a washout slip in the office.. so get there the scale is in a terrible location was told to park in this lot then go to a building across the way to get the paper work, Paperwork had me 2000 pounds over what was expected and they were saying weight fluctuates .... yea ok figuring that out made took me about and extra hour and a half dealing with the phone system. My Wednesday ended Thursday and 3 in the morning at a McDonald’s parking with 3 hours left on my clock smh now The unload today went smooth as pie.. Nalco has some nice Pete’s. Was tempted to jump in one lol Now Im slowly racing home ..PostmanMJC Thanks this. -
This last week has been terrible for me work wise... Monday was assigned a 9 mile trailer move for the day.... Didn’t do it knowing they would send another assignment cause it was Basf but didn’t get the second assignment til Tuesday evening. Got some question about why I didn’t drive 9 miles yesterday, but got there dropped the trailer. Went to pick up the assignment trailer. And... they don’t have the paper work for it.. 2 hours later.. I get my paper work also it was a in transit heat load(love those) Had to purchase coolant for reimbursement(still waiting on) which cause me to be late. Stopping to buy and then hooking up(everybody was out of coolant too, wouldn’t had been an issue if Schneider was supplied the last time I was in Gary) so I wake up the next day Make it through most of the hills of PA and WV only to have a instant derate literally 5 miles away from the customer. Made it to the customer.. very nice place and people , they sent me to a driver lounge and said relax we’ll be back in about 90 mins... came back to no heel just how I like it. Called sem and told them I needed maintenance said the Nearest place was 200 miles and to drive until it either I made it or itderated further and they would tow. Made it to Obetz and its a van Oc in fact I was the only tanker in the place. And on top of that they don’t have showers. Went to the maintenance bay to make sure they knew I was here.. they was never notified I was even coming by sem, had to schedule my appointment and the guy told me the earliest he could do was Sunday 4 days from now .. also I had a sleep study in Gary for which I was told if I didn’t take I would be place out of service for.. so I woke I up the next morning thanks to the stupidness of the van drivers and went back in to find out they could do Saturday at 2 which worked for me 3 days in the hotel. They got it fixed called in to tell them I was up and needed that routing to Gary . It was the weekend so I was dealing with extended and they was trying to route me to cinci for an assignment that took me to Pennsylvania smh. I told em I can’t do it and was told they would call me back(meaning 2-3 hours from now)checked the assignments seen they sent me to cinci to pick up a empty to Gary but I already had the dirty trailer on me... had to call again .. and they’re like oh yeaaa. Made it to Gary did the test. Tested positive now I have to sleep like a jet pilot every night.. GG’s

If it's not one thing it's another. They do have some good runs like the one I'm on is a 3000 mile round trip nalco load with 4 compartments. Delivered it yesterday up in Delaware.... Washington and Baltimore real fun..... and the best part is the trailer is dedicated so I now am taking it back to the Houston yard. 1500 miles to customer and 1500 miles deadhead back. Not bad. Was a pain tho since one of the tanks did not have enough room so we found a tote and I put 275 gallons into it.

Just came back from home time to 2 fun days..Day 1 I wasted a ton of time with sem and calling the dbl cause I couldn’t get the hit hooked up the pulled off the cap the line and was hit with a dust of rust both times. Finally dragged it to Gary as it was in the way. But that made me late to the appointment By 2 hours, it was a customer unload and the guy was pissed and rushing but it wasn’t my fault I had faulty equipment. He had to leave for a meeting 30 mins into the unload which made it take even longer, Finally done with the unload go to start the truck ... bam dead batteries...did I mention I was in Wisconsin? So far 8 for 9 with things going bad in wisc. Call sem and they say it’ll be 3 hours for them to even call a tech to call a tow truck when all I need is a jump ... GG sem.
Called My dbl and she said she’ll be on it, called back 20 mins later and asked was the truck started cause sem said it was smh..and now I was just told the work order they had for the truck has been closed cause somebody told them the truck was startedLast edited: Feb 27, 2019

Finally got jump started about 6 hours later only had 3 left on my 14 decided to head to the pilot about an hour away because I wasn’t making it to Chicago. About 15 mins down the road I hear “hey Schneider tanker you got ears bud??” Yea, you don’t have any lights on your rear!! ...You know wisc isn’t exactly booming with places to park cause I was done for the day.... so just dragged it til I made it 40 something miles to the nearest rest area got parked at about 8 which was a stroke of luck. Called sem and they said they’ll have someone call in about and hour which would be around 2130... I fell asleep at 2300 to no call only to wake up to a mechanic at 0200 to tell me my lights worked. So I played along went and looked.. The flashers had activated, told him what happened, he said he’ll check. So he checked the fuse box and said he has some a bad news.. half the trailer fuse box has no power and I’ll Have to go to a dealership. Smh
