    Our instructors at school made it a point to not take us on a test route. They would get in trouble from the state if caught doing it.

    Flatbed is not that bad.

    Its REEFER when you have 49000 in many boxes to move in a few hours... or the wait times combined with 24 hour unloading times in the trailer that are big problems.

    Flatbed and Tankers are not really that much in Manual labor. Detail work to be sure but not that much manual.

    Thats why I love to haul medicine. No one but warehouse staff is allowed to touch it. And they reload back to Memphis with cardboard bales inside of 45 minutes.

    The way our laws in HOS are setup, you can work a thousand hours in that trailer making it empty and its legal. Just cannot drive until you have had your required rest.
