    You have an enviable memory..
    I can't remember last week.

This is 50 yrs driving for me and about 35 union. Different states and locals.
I do specialized tanker that's hard to do under 120 and if you could bump 70 every week around 170 but I ain't that ambitious.

    LtlAnonymous and dwells40 Thank this.

50 yrs driving, dam that’s a lot. I ran into a 76 yr old in a cascadia sleeper trk pulling a dry van a month ago. 120-170 k pulling a tanker , where is that co ? I Really liked pulling a tanker . Yrs ago as a bonus I had girlfriends near the tank washes. I might move to the Beloit,Wi. Area . More jobs and better weather.

Beloit, eh? That's the sound a turd makes when hitting the water,,kidding, great folks, took quite a hit when GM pulled out of Janesville. Don't believe the hype, haz-mat tanker jobs might pay $100K, but most I bet around $80K, still decent pay for hooking up a hose. A gas tanker outfit out of Pueblo, had an ad, starting pay $60K, all local work, but mountain trucking. For a suicide jockey, could be tense. Big tank farm just south of Madison, and lots of tanker jobs, milk, water, chemicals, you name it. You want better weather, go to Phoenix.
Oh, in an unrelated matter, the coolest sound from a truck was a Mack F-700 cabover with a Mack V8 and with the cab tilted, the mufflers stayed with the cab. Sure sounded sweet.

Every week or every two weeks? That's great money depending on the work hours.

They always wanna talk about “don’t believe the hype.” Those of us who have pulled for more than just mom and pops know.
