Yeah you guys realize 100k now is like 70k in 2019
Inflation is closer to 20% but because they fudge the numbers they say it’s only 3%
The fed has no tools to fight it. Everyone knows it’s a house of cards. 2022 is not going to be good economically

agreed. They take an average by drawing two lines above and below the chart and take and average of the cut out chart. It’s a complete joke. I lost 6500$ Betting the market would drop before inflation numbers were released, apparently retail investors like fudge numbers so the sp500 went up on bad inflation data

didn't make 6 figures this year. but i did manage to make 92k on 111k miles. i met my goal of further reducing my hours at work, i'm under 42/week average this year. idk if i'll be able to beat that next year or not, but i'm #### sure going to try.

the potential is there to easily make over 100, i value time off & the dollar:hour much more than my week end earnings. to each his own.

i work for a little LTL doing linehaul. no pups and not much bs otherwise. i love it. oh and my benefits are free. that prob counts for something.

$136,288.73 home everyday. My normal work week is 50/52 hours running 3,100 miles. I did run my 6th day fairly often through the summer. My run without any extra days pays $128,000 a year.

Not me. Even when I'm dog tired, I'm never miserable--I just look back on all the horror shows I worked at before I got into LTL and give thanks and praise to God that I'm out of that OTR mess. It's all in how you look at your life.

In 1920, the Internal Revenue Service reports, the average income was $3,269.40 per year.
The average price per troy ounce of gold in 1920 was $20.68
    =158 ounces per year

gold price today per troy ounce of gold is $1,830
100k salary today is considered upper middle class
    100k/1,830
    = 54 ounces per year

comparably with 54 ounces your yearly salary in 1920
= $1,116.72 A third of the national average
