Pulling a 48' reefer tonight, last night was a 26' pup... just thought id thro that out there. A 26' pup sure does look goofy on a 25' long t660!

I do however LOVE pulling this reefer!!!

So this is my last night at home before I go back out. They changed the pickup time on my load and cut five hours out of the time I had to make the trip. Of course they added two on the delivery side. I'm guessing it's enough to make Reno. Hope the roads aren't bad.

On another note and completely off topic. I was able to get my CNC milling machine up and running today. To me it's a big deal. I hope the next trip home will let me start setting it up to start machining AR15 lower receivers. All it takes is money to get started.

My Dad was a CNC Machinist! Aerospace parts. 35 years at it, and he'd bet that no one could do his job as good as he could.

I'm sure he's right. Does he do any programming on the side still?

He doesn't do much of anything except sit on top of the gun safe in the office now. Passed away in 2011. He did the programming for the parts he needed to run and wound "help" the engineers doimg the programming for the other guys at the shop.

I'm sorry to hear it. Mine does the same thing. He's still good to talk to but doesn't say much back.

    Mrh2008 Thanks this.

I havn't started school yet but from what I read and understand, a "Pre-Trip" is a procedure you use on your truck BEFORE you leave out on a job. You pretty much check all safety euipment, The truck itself to make sure everything is in order so you don't get no "Oh ####" moments while out.
I also think there is a checklist you can use provided by the company and you have to log it also in your Log. :)

    Hope I am right.

Anyone else want to chime in please?

    thanks
