My bad. I'm still learning this site. I replied but didn't put the quotes with them. There's no telling where that's from.

Thanks Shamrock! I passed Airbrakes 2 days ago. Last test is Pre-Trip Written. No practice test on this site for that one. Anyone know of any practice tests for it, let me know. Don't think I'm gonna get to the DMV to take it today anyway.

It's my first day back and what a day its started out to be. They changed the pickup time for my load by 5 hours but didn't adjust the deliver time. The Qualcomm is running 2 hours behind so I didn't get my dispatch for the load. The information I had was for an address that didn't exist. I called the shipper and got directions. I was an hour behind by that time. Tandems were stuck and that took another 20 minutes. Hooked up, weighed, and headed out. Got just outside of Marsing, ID and blew a trailer tire and here I sit, waiting for someone to come and fix it. My dispatch called me and wanted to know if I was loaded or not. I'd sent in the loaded macro and I got a msg that said I sent it in twice. They thought I as still at the shipper. I'm now down to no extra time. I've got 8.5 hours to make a 7 hour trip and get fuel. I have to be unloaded in that time as well because I don't have a cushion now. Still no one here to fix the tire.

It's a wonderful day. To think I passed up a chance to go back to Afghanistan to do this. I must be losing my mind.

I made it to the delivery and got yelled at my the loss prevention teenager because I was late. I obviously ruined her day. I thought it was a drop and go but no, it was a live unload and I ran out of hours sitting at the dock. I knocked on the receiving door three different times and finally called and talked to LP again. No one came out to tell me they were done or to sign the paperwork. I made nice with LP and got permission to sleep where I was at. It's been a long friggin day!

    Bigdubber Thanks this.
