ok I told you all I would tell you what we had for dinner cooked entirely in the little lunchbox cooker.

Bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breast, stuffed with parmaginna cheese. In the juices from the chicken I cooked sliced fingerling potatoes and mushrooms.

    Total prep time. 15min.
    Total cook time. 1 hour.

All of this can be prepped ahead of time, end of your ten. Just leave the chicken in a cooler. Cook can be started at the end your 11 hours while you are in the shower.

Total cost: I got three meals for less than one at the TS and even with the bacon it's healthier

Look for more recipes as I start down the solo road

Daaaaammmmmmmnnnn! That's killer man! You should start your own cooking show. "Grillin down the highway". I used to have one of the little propane George Foreman grills and we would barbeque every once and awhile. There are a lot of great places to stop, cook, eat and enjoy the scenery! Gotta have fun while your out there!

    wulfman75 Thanks this.

I am toying with the idea of a truckers cook book. What good I is being a self-taught chef if I can't make recipes. :biggrin_2554:

Excellent thread celticwolf. I look forward to reading more posts. I've been trolling for a long time. Eventually decided to join but it's taken a couple months yet still to decide to post. What was your biggest reason to get hired with your company? Anything about the company stick out or was it just away to break into the industry?

That sounds really good. Sure it was. :biggrin_25519:

That probably can't be overstated, maybe it gets a little better later on when you're more used to it but at first it has totally worn me out. Doesn't help it's all night but that's another thread.

Several reasons actually. One the pay while in a trainers truck was better than most. CDL was fairly local for me. The starting CPM was higher. Central doesn't pressure you to lease, but if you want to theire lease terms are better than most. Centrals C.R.A.F.T. program clinched it. Because I am a vet I don't have to pay for the CDL training

Here we sit at a Petro near DeKalb, I'LL waiting on a pickup appt tomorrow. Then we head south to NC and hopefully to Central's terminal in Conley Ga so I can upgrade.

My trainer shocked me today. He bought me the 50 anniv. edition of the Cobra 29 LXE.
