Ok planner just because I say I am moving doesn't mean I am able to do the speed limit.

Wasted 2 hours of drive time today because the first 2-3 hours of my trip I couldn't get past 30 mph.. hell even the ups guys were going slow..

Yep, shut it down after only 162 miles last night. When your drive tires start going sideways, it is a new kind of interesting. I am wondering if I can get the crease out of the drivers seat where my butt cheeks clenched. Looks awesome out this morning however, nothing but gorgeous blue skies. Never, ever thought Kansas would look good to me.

Celtic if you are running on paper logs then you fill out your log according to the miles you drove. 30 miles should be 30 min of driving time in your logs. Otherwise you are going to burn up your driving time.

Central is on eLogs.. no choice.. least the receiver was nicen enough to wait for me to get there. They normally stop receiving at 1400 I got there at 1435. Planner told them I. Wouldn't make the 1400 deadline and the receiver to her to tell me to come on in..

Now I am preset for one of thos 10 wait meat loads. Good thing is it's warm in KY and it's a three stop run.. Wooo extra pay. :biggrin_25523:

Celtic, I'm adding your thread to my watch list, too. (Hey, anyone who's ripping through Pern books is good in my books!)

Good luck on the meat load. I think I'm glad I won't be dealing with eLogs or refers for now. :)

My only issue with the meat run is I have to wait till 1900 tonight to check in and then wait another 10 before I can get my loaded trailer. Weather going bad so maybe the wait will be a good thing. As for the eLogs - tough to run illegal, and the bears know that..

Those meat loads suck for solo drivers. No matter what they detain you for 10hrs. I don't think that is very fair. What if you just came off your 10 right before you got there? That would blow!

Chompi I got the shipper and the guard told me to park my trailer over there and pick up your new trailer over here. In and out 30 mins.

I got to my second stop and went "you have got to be kidding". It was a big butcher place and I thought he didn't have a loading dock. When I stop the truck I saw it on my blind side. Looked like a boat ramp. Hahaha

The first stop had one dock for loading and unloading and directly in front of it was as 15 foot drop.. that was fun to setup for.

Now I camped out at the Swift Ocala Terminal... I feel. Like the fox in the hen house
