The story of my adventure

Well today was lots of fun.. the routing software Central uses decided I needed to take the scenic route to my pickup. I think I took the same route the green mountian boys took with those revolutionary cannons.. cool thing I got to see Mt. Washington..

Sitting in a Walmart parking lot doing my 10 in Potsdam, NY. If I didn't go the scenic route I could been loaded.

Good thing is I get paid loaded or unloaded... and I got a blu-ray player.. life is good.

 

Got to love it. 1hr 3 minutes from my drop.. 1 hr 1 min. of drive time available. When I left this morning I had 2.5 hours to spare, than I went through the Virginia Mountains hauling 40K in the box.

One more thing to add to the "what it takes to be a successful trucker" list.

I downloaded Copilot*Live (Trucks) for my droid. what a difference it made over the normal droid navigation. Most expensive droid app I ever bought at $149.00, but it was a whole lot cheaper than buying a separate GPS.

I just love the 80 degs. it is here in Georgia even if I am sitting at a Rest Area..

 

Well sooner or later it had to happen.. the idle control system on my truck is failing.. just keeps idling.. not bad, but if I over idle I am going to get charged, so time to get fixed..

Worse part I need to go to a dealer to get the work done..

 

I know nobody really cares, but till this icon sysytem is fixed I will be sleeping in my truck naked with the side winders open... It is warm here in GA.

Sure glad I am in a terminal and not a TS.

 

Well here's a downside to trucking...

I am sitting at a Cummins repair shop getting my truck fixed.. the filter regen and the icon are just plain broke...
