The T/A replaced the number 1 u-joint on my driveline and now...

    Freightliner will get the job done....just the parts from Brazil...only place that is made so I have to wait for it to get here. I just cant believe that if it is made there, then they should have one around and could have shipped it on a fricking jet already to the states. My guess is they are paying an illegal to get it to the states from Brazil.

    Update...today is 6/9/14 and Freightliner still is working on the truck..All the parts have been there for a week already and the truck still is not done and Cannot get a honest answer from the service manager as to when it will be done...I am starting to get irritated with this backwards country hillbilly s.o.b's

    It's clearly different. There are actual hills in Landrum, SC.

    I don't think anyone has asked, was the replacement Ujoint greased on a specified maintenance? I've had a joint fail and had it make it to the yard the the clunk really loud back there. 2 new joints in the small shaft between diffs and I was rolling.

    I would figure you could get used parts from Richard Kerns in atlanta and get the truck rolling.

    Also, maybe a mechanic or manager there at Freightshaker is a friend of Blackwells. Giving you the run around. Anyways.. bad situation to be in.
