I wouldn't mind being called a tourist forever than be used to a tornado :biggrin_2557:

You never get used to them, you just learn to expect them, and you learn how to prepare and respond.

What can they call you on? Being from out of state is not a crime is it? I would think that most of the people from out of state working in the fields are working 3 weeks on/1 off or similiar and not actually relocating? Is there something about doing that that is ilegal?

They're rare everywhere. As you head north past Dallas and towards Amarillo they're more common because its near the southern end of Tornado Alley.

Like he said; the closer you get to Amarillo and go north east; the more you go into tornado alley. The #### tornado here was a property damage Tornado. 10's of Millions of dollars are going to be needed to replace; property and windows.

I lost bedroom windows; one of my computers, Tv, and my mattress was soaked. The apartment complex I live in looks like a boarded up apartment complex. There isn't one building that doesn't have boards and some of them are all boarded up right now. Looks like the South end of Chicago where banks are boarded up and that's being truthful.

@RockinChair Yeah Pantex that Nuclear Site off of 60 is of a major concern as well.... Maybe that's why I was told what ever you do don't drink the water or cook with it.

Well overall the City and the people have been kind to me and i appreciate the opportunity to square my financial affairs away; and I'm late in the 4th Quarter. Debt is under 2K now so were on the home stretch... w00t
