I don't have any pics but there was a truck in Nashville hauling a excavator on a RGN. Somehow they neck separated from the trailer, right in the middle of the interstate. I'm assuming the driver forgot to put the neck safety pin in.

On 40 headed to Needles, I saw a guy hauling a jalopy with a pretzel wench and an old turtleneck. I just about crapped myself. I haven’t seen that since before the war.

While I was still doing the training thing, this was being passed on down to me from the higher ups before the elog mandate hit, and it was coming from sources within the MTA (Manitoba Trucking Association) who had meetings with the MOT/CMV enforcement. Because now that elogs have made paper logs extinct, DOT officers no longer have an "easy" ticket to hand out.
