    Good to know, thanks. I knew there was probably more states/provinces out there with silly rules like that.

    So if I have a 14' lift of lumber of with rigid boards and no need for centre dunnage, if I put the straps at 10 feet apart (accounting for any not blocked against forward movement and adding an extra strap), despite being good for the federal regs for weight and length, New York would still take issue.

    I've never been to New Brunswick, but apparently they do the same thing there with the "ruler".

    I'm looking at article 393.110 (3) which states every 10 ft or fractional. I can see I was in error with 8 ft.

    13' high condo on a 30" high trailer.....can anybody say
    only by permit and maybe a pole car
    and that does not include the overweight on the drive tires
