Looking a the report, I was surprised that "393.201(a) Frame cracked / loose / sagging / broken" isn't a OOS. I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around a officer saying "your frame is broken, here is your ticket, and you're ok to head on down the road".Son, Grubby, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -

As long as it doesn't have the possibility of weakening the frame structure itself the DOT...in our area anyway, usually just cites you and you get it repaired.Oxbow Thanks this.
