Not sure those loads are worthy of the "Hall of Shame". Gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes.

usually what I do is get some smaller (length) pieces of dunnage so basically now something is pushing DOWN on that piece (or other pieces). In fact I carry a few scrap pieces for exactly this. (if I miss one and it starts walking it's way out).

on that piece specifically i happened to be fixing it at our yard and a guy came up with a forklift and said "hey, want some help?"
    why yes, yes I do.

so we got some dunnage that just fit between that tubing and the dunnage overhanging it. in two different spots. so then by pulling DOWN on the upper pieces, which pushed on that middle dunnage which pushed on the dunnage over that tubing. But without the forkie, i just would have gotten a few pieces that stuck up enough so the chain (or another strap pushed between the levels) so it coudl push DOWN.

Got two, no pictures sorry, was driving truck.

    1. You know those corrugated metal roof's? and that metal? They stack it in 25 or 50 piece chunks and then put dunnage between them? That's so sharp that it cuts thru leather gloves when you installing it?

Yeah, guy hauling a whole load of it. Tied down with bright yellow 4" straps. no protectors. They were already being cut, i could see it going down the road.

    2. then later, saw a load of lumber.

so 3 stacks, 2 high of bunks of lumber. 12 total bunks. (not real big bunks, maybe 2'-3' high each)

1 strap on the front stack, 1 strap on the 2nd stack, 1 strap on the 3rd stack.........................

    D.Tibbitt and Lepton1 Thank this.
