4400lbs and smashed the pallet mid transit. I saw my strap flap and pulled over. I’m worried it will fall on the side. I added 2 chains. You think it’s safe?

If you can pull left and pull right with 2 different chains will hold it from falling over. Like you would do to a motorcycle.

My thoughts exactly. I have had some top heavy pieces start to tilt. If it is tilting toward the passenger side I run a chain or strap from the driver's side around it and back to the driver's side.

Today at the container terminal in mobile. It was bouncing up and down at 10mph. Left rear corner isn't even touching the deck. 20190430_103836.jpg 20190430_104202.jpg 20190430_104202.jpg 20190430_104212.jpg

man, hauling verco with no protectors is like doin a lot lizard with no protectors, crazy... i usually put cardboard under my straps with metal roofing , ive had them double up on cardboard and still cut a strap fairly easlily.....some guys is just lazy, they need to make an open deck endorsement , might make guys think about #### more, but then again probably not

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Modern medicine can work wonders if that driver got a bad case of "shingles".
