Wer used to pull flats with no legs to haul equipment on. You ran the dozer a little off the back to pick up the front, so you could back under it. Once you did it a time or two, you knew just where to park the dozer to hook up and the same to unhook, then just eased it back on the trailer and it would lower it to the ground real easy.
My cousin dropped his on a hill once, and not thinking about the air had bled off (before maxi brake days) he ran the dozer back and picked the neck up, he got a wild ride down the hill. lolHammer166, LoneCowboy, old iron and 7 others Thank this. -

The 45' flat on our daycab local quarry shuffler has no landing gear at all. Theres a train track theyll catch on.
