That makes sense. They can unload it then by tilting back and then driving forward. He had one chain on the back going through corner holes.

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.

It really looks like it was loaded up front, then he smashed the gas and it slid back. Look at the first strap. Like it used to be over the whole thing and now it's not.

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.

I'm sure you can use straps on a loaded container for a belt and suspenders set up with chains on the corners too. I'd never use just straps on even an empty.

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.

    Why not?
Protect from rubbing and cutting and straps are just fine. I prefer chains but that's just a personal preference cause I find them faster, not based on some false notion that they are safer.

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.

No it doesn't. He's using that strap to try to secure against forward movement.

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.

I never heard u cant use straps on a container. I put 1 chain in front one in back and however many straps over the top. There is no way to chain the whole thing down

Upinsmoke, JonJon78 and spyder7723 Thank this.

Crisscross chains from the top locks to the trailer rails. That's how you do it. 4 chains.

That will work for a twenty footer but need 5 pieces of securement on a 40. So need a strap somewhere over the middle.

Upinsmoke, D.Tibbitt and JonJon78 Thank this.

I'm pretty sure they have their own regs on securing cans.
