The step deck is snapped because its a huge point load on shorter height frame rails. Steps always have to taper up over the axle for low height. Pierced construction crossmembers for low deck height means the vertical flange is compromised in its most insufficient location. It may have survived if the coil was up front and the whole frame could spring more but wont scale.
The bottom trailer sure looks like a ravens fleet hawk to me. Flats have sufficient vertical flange but theyre very thin aluminum and cracks start at the crossmember pierce and do not stop via cyclic vibration. Our ravens are shot and plated. No heavy point loads. Must be spread out.
Imo monster coils should go on a steel flatbed. -

Yeah but a permit is easier to get on the fly than your doubles license! Wonder how straight that two piece spread goes down the roadcke, Deere hunter, 650cat425 and 1 other person Thank this. -
