So last night leaving work. I was behind a flatbed fail. Very bad tarp job. Straps over the tarp. In the right-hand Lane with his left blinker on. So I moved over to the left slow down enough and Flash my lights so he can get over. Waited and waited and waited. Finally the guy turned off his turn signal. He forgot it was on. LOL here I was blocking traffic to give him an opening and he didn't even need it.

Since I live outside Central Ohio, I actually saw that box truck headed up 33 near Marysville today. Only this time it was on a drop deck. Makes you wonder where he loaded those at.

This isn't a pic of a flatbedder who screwed up. This is a white 2006-ish Chevrolet Silverado in the middle of a CAR-B-QUE. This was on Interstate 80 eastbound near Lovelock, NV yesterday. IMG_20200514_194211.jpg

This made me think of my trucking school. The school had a driver who ran freight locally using a set of doubles, one day he came into the yard, dropped a set, hooked another set, and left. Where he dropped the set it was at an angle where you couldn't get a tractor straight in front of it to hook up, you had to hook up at an angle.

Two instructors, 15 minutes. That's what it took the genius crew at this school to get a tractor hooked up to this set. It was truly amazing to watch.

Happening currently in Atoka, ok. An example of “drive the load”, driver slammed on the brakes for a red light, he stopped, his load stopped at the back of his cab. Yanked the embedded anchors out of the double T he was hauling.

I believe they had the whole police force there. I counted 8 cars as I rolled by. Just happened to catch the red and got the picture.

Might be more to that. The lead axle is broke loose to be at that angle.
