I hope you don’t mean the tow hooks on the front of the truck. Those are not meant for heavy recovery. They needed to go directly to the trailer for the heavy pull and only a light pull on the tractor to keep it in front of the trailers. Just my opinion.

 

Not a single chain in sight . And 3 straps in maybe 10-15ft..no edge protection by the looks of it... Sure nothing illegal... but good god . Laziness will take ur life drivers.. That was probably an easy setup for a cross chain. And plenty of room between stacks to feed a strap thru the middle tier... i take it thats the driver standing at passanger door getting looked at... hope he learned his lesson.... Dont take shortcuts on structural or it can and will take ur ####ing head off..
