I'm far from perfect, and learn something new everyday. I'm gonna say a prayer for this guy. All the slack on every chain caught my attention as he pulled forward from fueling. Everything was bouncing. Pictures don't do justice but you can clearly see the slack on chain thats over the first trailer axle... This is a chicago area company. I thought about saying something but they typically don't like any form of criticism... I'd have a flip flop slapped a cross my face, had I said something. 20210518_113150.jpg

As they always say. Better some stranger dies than I have to deal with an uncomfortable situation.

Seriously though. It's a hazard that if nothing is done somebody could definitely be hurt or killed. I'd call 911 for it.

So afraid of a little flip flop you’d rather let someone die. Here you are shaming him you should be ashamed of yourself

I have to agree. I donated 20 minutes to the driver infront of me today. He had 2 chains, 1 binder and rest straps. Loaded 4 stacks of skidded coils. Had no idea how to use a chain, let alone the binder. Grand scheme of things, a blip in my day. Nice guy and was trying to learn.

Getting worse every year. The mentality is “how am I gonna strap this?” Chains must be a foreign concept. Especially farm equipment. Some people make it so hard on themselves

Call 911 on him? For what? They would just hang up on you.

I run in Chicago. There’s not enough time in a day to “help” these people out.
