Our pay structure is based on a tiered salary system, which tier you are on is determined by what your average miles are. The minimum guaranteed pay is $65,000 a year, and it goes up to $104,000 a year. You get five days of home time per month, but you can roll two of those over if you want to take a week off say in the beginning of the following month or something.

From the internet, but this one can be filed under “why you throw gut straps over the bottom lifts and not all over the top”.

All he had to do was take a too fast right turn, then all was good...

That's that #### welded wire mesh panels again...doesn't take much for them to start shifting on you.

    Bud A. Thanks this.

Which is why I’m surprised the place he loaded even lets guys leave that don’t throw straps over the 3rd or 4th layer.

Oxbow and Bud A. Thank this.

Saw a private vehicle hauling ### with a Jeep on a car trailer today. His rear chain binder was popped open swaying in the breeze. Tried to get his attention with my horn, and flashing my lights. Didn’t work though, and he kept cruising right along away from me at 80mph.

I've never hauled that stuff but I've heard some of those places just bring out one big stack drop it in your deck. Don't really care whether or not you can get straps through the middle.

Bud A., Lepton1, brsims and 2 others Thank this.

That’s when I’d ask them to kindly take it off. I will never chance getting a ticket because “that’s the way we load all the trucks”.

Highway Sailor, Bud A., brsims and 3 others Thank this.
