I’m not givin the guy a pass but, looks like he has every piece under a rope. He obviously spent some brain power on loading and strapping?

Better than the flatbed guy with the super sacks and zero straps. That guy knew better!

Look at it this way. It's still fixable!

I had a goofball load sorta similar to that. Padded the unholy heck out of it, pulled and yanked on those tarps just as tight as I could. Took close to three hours to get it right.

Three hours later, one (just ONE!) of my pads slipped. Yeah...tarp was completely destroyed before I could find a safe place to pull over. Company had to send another truck out with a complete replacement tarp before I could continue. There was absolutely no way to repair the old one. Even tarp shop gave up.

And now I pull a conestoga, instead!

How do you like working there ? I looked at them a year or so ago but the recruiter told me that for the first 6 months, everyone gets a camera staring at them.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

The only way I am ever leaving this company is in a body bag, or under my own DOT numbers. I’m making a ton of money and have full company paid medical, dental, vision, 401k that they match... we do have cameras but they don’t bother me. In fact one of the first things they show you when going over the features of the equipment that they issue you is how to turn the camera off.

Actually an amazing company. Kinda surprised really. I came here for the insurance due to a temporary situation where I knew I’d have about 10k in medical bills to pay in the next few months. Once I got here though, it became much more than that.

Holler at me if you wanna know more about them.

    Saw a good one yesterday

Local short day cab (almost like a food service truck, almost no overhang to use, ) pulling a 40 or 45' flatbed

with big long pieces of rebar on it
hanging 5 to 10 feet over the back. (10' is legal here, no oversize, just a flag over 4')

    4 straps

    total

    no flag

boing boing boing at every bump.

    freeway of course.
