You need to buy a few 2” endless strap to bundle the pipe together, they are just the ratchet with a long piece on the end and you just loop it around then into the ratchet. You can buy them at most of the big online stores that sell flatbed gear.

Why? A regular 2” strap and ratchet is much more useful in my opinion. You can always tape the hooks together if needed. I’ve even done it with 4” straps too. D6F8D6F2-0738-43D4-89BA-B4318D548537.jpeg

I totally agree but @Kyle G. said he would be concerned about doing that so I just forwarded another solution that should be easy and stress free

Oh I agree, the tires aren’t going anywhere, but it’s still a lot of material that isn’t covered by a strap and that could draw a lot unwanted attention from a person who doesn’t know any better.

I will often throw a strap or two just for aesthetic purposes.

Those are the web bands lumber yards use in place of steel banding to make a bundle. Definitely not to be used in this manner. Man thats bad. What a dumb, dumb person.

What about used car tires without rims to stack a load on? I appreciate the effort, that is probably two full truck loads on that flatbed. C6B9E8D0-C9D1-498C-B534-B5925B43FAD5.jpeg

They do work for crane headache balls or used engines strapped to pallets.

I get it, I do the same. I often have few straps just for looks. Because if it looks good, that's half the battle.

My opinion here, hard pass on that. The problem with tires that aren't on rims is they collapse and they do it at different rates. Next thing you know your load is leaning because the tires holding the weight of your load collapsed. Then you Tighten and Tighten your straps......nah....
