Nah. Most of the neighbors are really cool. We just got that one cranky old bat that hates life.

Also I'm in north port, i say sarasota cause very few have ever heard of Northport, and after all np is basically just a suburb of Sarasota.

    No kidding?

    I’m off of San Mateo.

I’ve lived all over Sarasota County since middle school... Venice, Englewood, Lakewood Ranch... now North Port. I like my empty lots surrounding me :D

when i moved here in 98 i could have bought 500 acres a mile east of 75 on 70 for almost nothing. Was nothing but pasture land. Now that land is called lakewood ranch. Talk about missed opportunity. The growth this area had seen in the last 20 years is frightening. I moved here from Ohio to get away from people, now I'm looking to move back north for the same reason. To many freaking people here.

Edit to add: just off price by glenn alan elementary school.

Second edit: isn't san mateo just off price on the other end towards pc?

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend the movie, Gross Pointe Blank. John Cusack's masterpiece.

Invite me over and I’ll take care of it for ya. I can leave a couple of 13” strips of rubber right in front of her house too. I can make some black smoke and noise with my pickup!

It’s east of Toledo Blade. All the way down towards Atwater. I’m in between East Price and Hillsborough.

Funny you mention that. I was on hometime for two weeks last month. Joined girl on her morning puppey walk. I counted THIRTEEN new homes. Either being built or finished. That’s in a roughly six month time span...

She wants to move up to the hills north of Asheville NC... I want to go all the way to Spokane Valley.

I'm probably going back to Ohio. Im 20 years older and in much better financial shape than i was when moving down here at 21. Back then one of the things i hated the most was working on the truck outside in winter, and shoveling snow. But now building a heated garage and plowing with a tractor is financially feasible.

But i will miss the fishing.
