    What is the product?

If they let him off property like that, then why is there a problem? Tarp is tight and well secured, plastic runs all the way down to the deck, load should be well protected all the way to delivery.

    cke Thanks this.

Particle board. I showed the pic to the shipping boss, the loaders are supposed to watch the guys tarping. It’s frustratung because the truck in the pic is part of the reason nobody can tarp off property now, and then he shows up with short tarps.

    Oh. Well crap.

Yeah, any dampness on the lower part of that load is gonna destroy the lower levels. Darned particle board is cheap, useless junk.

Also too blasted cheap to haul, in my opinion. But my deck is allergic to lumber loads. And wallboard loads. And insulation loads. Pretty much all common construction loads. I don't even mess with structural steel anymore.

Maxi loads in the NW are all pretty much mill direct, the regular truck loads get brokered out unless you’re on their carrier list. The particle board plant is the only mill left in town so it’s pretty much our dedicated outbound loads. We pull anywhere from 4-8 loads a day out of it. I can’t speak for other parts of the country, but hauling wood products serves us pretty well in the NW.

I think quite a few of Mack's boys have found their way to the best coast.

Now I know why Mack started this thread.

    Today clinched it.

I really gotta install this drive cam.

Maybe the broker lied, and told him 4’ tarps would work. Speaking from experience.

They haul mill direct and load there about as much as we do. They had claims for damaged wood before and that’s when they started the mandatory plastic on all loads and no leaving to tarp.
